English Didactic II

Hello, today we had our first mid-term, we met at university, my classmate Karen and I were studying in the classroom, we start at 1:30 PM, teacher Orlando provided us the mid-term so we could solve it. I enjoy learning this subject, and the different topics are awesome! In the "primer registro" we learned about theories of language, theories of learning, bilingualism, the teaching methods between another ones, I liked. After that, my classmate Karen and I went to the food court, we ate a snack, and talked about good experiencies.

Today, we had expositions about the differents learning methods, a very important topic because it allows to us to develop our knowledge using the methods, and introduce to the students the topics for they can be able to getting new knowledge, learn a new language, and develop current and new skills. In this photo is another group, every group introduced one method, in total are 12 methods, there were 12 groups, my group and I introduced: The Silent Way Method, it was created by Caleb Gattegno. It is a methodology of teaching language based on the idea that teachers should be as silent as possible during a class but learners should be encouraged to produce as much language as possible. After we introduced our presentation we did a demonstration of the method, it was a nice experience for me, I was able to demonstrate the method, I liked.

Today, we didn´t have our class at university, our teacher wrote to us for giving the advice, and told to us that he was going to be in a meeting, for that reason he provides to us the instructions for develop our activities, among the homeworks that we had to do were about giving an answer in the forum of the week, and write a new post for our blogs.
